Barn Name: JJ DOB: 05.08.2020 Sire: Impulsive Ghost Dam: DJ's Diva Color: Chocolate, single silver gene, and possible cream gene Current Height: 14.3hh Estimated Finishing Height 14.3 - 15hh
JJ is the last son of our late Impulsive Ghost. Hence his name, Infinities End. He inherited his sire's playful personality, intense curiosity, love for affection, and that beautiful snip on the end of his nose! His dam is one of the stockiest, most easy going trail mares in our pasture. Her mellow demeanor and stocky build shines brightly through JJ. Very little bothers this beautiful boy.. his intense curiosity and tendencies to pick pocket/rob you blind has desensitized him to soooo many things. He made training easy in that department! - Born and raised on the farm - - Does his groundwork with ease - - Has gotten his regular farrier visits and worming since he was 3-4 months old - - Has been exposed to dogs his entire life and has no issues with them - - Well socialized with other horses of all ages - JJ's pedigree sports grandsire, Broken Bone's Sam's Son, as well as several sons and daughters of the Iconic TOBE, Including: KCS, Maple's Squirrel, Sewell's Sam, Sewell's Beauty, Cocoa, and Sam Clemon's Tim. ~ TRAINING ~ JJ will be started barefoot and bareback in a little s hackamore. He will work on mounting, dismounting, leg cues, stop/go, and be kept at just a walk before he is asked for a little more and introduced to the saddle. He will get trail time starting in short increments and working his way up to moderate rides both on and off the farm. Not until he is settled with a rider on his back will we ask him to move faster than a walk. This process is different for every horse, there is no true timeline.
JJ will not leave the farm until training is completed. We want the best for our horses. These are not horses that were bought to flip, these are products of OUR breeding program. We helped birth, raise, and are now training these horses. To us, training for a good trail riding base is not a 30 or even 60 day training process. It starts when they hit the ground. Fundamentals at a young age, increased groundwork as they grow, introducing them to new things, then take 3-6 months under saddle to shape them into a well rounded trail companion. All horses are certified in gait prior to leaving and regardless of gender. His anticipated ready date will not be until late fall 2024 - there are a few horses in front of him, depending on weather this estimated time frame could get pushed back OR moved up.
$$ PRICE $$ Final price is determined once we get him under saddle and better gauge his abilities. The vast majority of our trail horses fall somewhere in the $15,000 - $25,000 range. The final number is influenced by many factors.. age, gait abilities, ease of handling in and out of the saddle, trail performance, overall saddle time, experiences (camping, shows, events, exposure, etc.), any quirks, and overall appearance to name a few.
** RESERVE ** We do have options and contracts for those that would like to reserve a trail horse prior to he/she being finished. However, we do not sell a trail horse blind. Each buyer must come and handle/ride the horse they wish to purchase. Bonnie works hard to match the rider to the horse based on riding styles, heights/weights, age, and experience. You may come to the farm wanting one horse, and ending up falling in love with another during this initial visit! * Please contact to go over options for reserving a trail horse under contract *
